About Qmon

Qmon was built by parents who saw their children struggle with math and wanted a better alternative. Expensive learning centers demanded $150+ a month and twice-weekly trips across town. One-size-fits-all worksheet apps drilled problems without ever explaining the concepts behind them. Free video platforms offered great lectures but no way to know if a child actually understood the material.

We believed there had to be a middle ground: a patient, adaptive math tutor that could meet each child at their level, explain concepts clearly, and adjust in real time -- all without the cost and logistics of in-person tutoring.

That belief became Qmon. An iPad app with 168 math topics from counting to calculus, powered by an AI tutor named Archie who guides children through every lesson with hints, visual aids, and encouragement. A parent dashboard that gives families real visibility into their child's progress. And a price that doesn't make math education a luxury.

Why an owl? Across cultures, owls represent wisdom, patience, and watchfulness. We wanted Qmon's tutor to embody those same qualities.

Archie is designed to be the tutor every child deserves: patient enough to explain the same concept three different ways, encouraging when a child gets frustrated, and adaptive enough to challenge advanced learners without leaving anyone behind. Archie introduces new concepts with clear explanations and visual aids, provides step-by-step hints during practice, celebrates correct answers, and gently walks through mistakes so every error becomes a learning moment.

Archie is powered by Qmon's adaptive engine, which tracks accuracy, speed, and consistency to tailor instruction to each individual student. No two children experience Qmon the same way.
